You will enjoy the scenic views of Brisbane's skyline, parks/gardens and rolling countryside.
Itinerary
You'll meet with the crew at Toowong Park right before sunrise. After the pilot has confirmed the weather you'll be transported to the take off point for that day.
The launch site will vary depending on the conditions to ensure the best possible experience and you will be given the option of helpimg to inflate the balloon. Ultimately you will float over the river giving you great views of the city and surrounding suburbs.
After landing, the balloon will be packed away and you will be taken to the Sofitel for breakfast.
Following breakfast you will be taken back to the morning meeting point in Toowong.
The flight lasts for approximately 1 hour and you should allow at least 4 hours for the whole experience.
Established operator
The pilot of this flight has been flying over Brisbane in hot air balloons since 1987 and the operator, a family business has been in operating since 1996. Both maintain a 100% safety record.
The Chief Pilot has won more awards than any other pilot in Australia including a massive 15 World Records, 85 Australian records, Guinness Book of Records - First person to fly a balloon solo across Australia, inductee into the Australian Ballooning Federation Hall of Fame and numerous other awards.
This operator has also received multiple awards for excellence including Best Hospitality and Tourism Service and Best Tour and Transport Operator.
They are also certified as Earth Aware and have been offsetting carbon emissions since 2004.
Comfortable transport
You will be take to and from the pickup point in Toowong on a purpose build Mercedes courtesy bus with dual air-conditioning and DVD player for your comfort.
Breakfast
A 5 star Champagne breakfast at the Sofitel is included in your booking. You are welcome to bring along additional guests, however you will need to let the operator know so they can book in advance.
In-flight camera
Your balloon will be fitted with a high quality digital SLR camera and you will receive a DVD on completion of the tour including photos from the flight.
You will also recieve a commemorative flight certificate.
