Hot air ballooning Perth weekend flight (Northam)

Drifting gently over the magnificent Avon Valley at sunrise is a truly enchanting experience. With the rolling hills, green fields and stream beneath you.

Tour itinerary

The adventure starts just before sunrise in the departure lounge of the operators hanger at the Northam Airport were you are welcome to tea and coffee.

You will then be transported via bus to the launch site were the pilot and ground crew will unload and inflate the balloon - you are more than welcome to participate in this activity if you would like.

Once inflated, you will be invited to join the crew in the balloon for a last minute safety briefing before lifting off into the clouds.

Once aloft you will be able to enjoy amazing panoramic views over the Avon Valley as the sun rises over a patchwork of colours and shimmering water.

At times you will fly low over river, streams and tree tops. Drifting over the valley takes roughly an hour depending on winds.

Once we have landed and the balloon has been packed away, you will celebrate in style with a champagne breakfast in a French tradition at the Fountain Restaurant in the historic Fitzgerald Hotel.
After breakfast, the pilot will present you with a commemorative flight certificate.
