Fancy a flight in the world's largest commercial hot air balloon above some exhilarating tablelands scenery?
A balloon ride in the Mareeba valley is a truly memorable experience. Aside from the picturesque landscape you'll also see native Australian wildlife such as wallabies and birds.
Itinerary
The balloons are inflation pre-dawn, which is something to been seen itself.
As the sun is rising you will gently rise and glide over the Atherton tablelands near Cairns.
Following the landing, you will be taken to the historic Mareeba Heritage Museum and served a hot breakfast including champagne.
You'll also have a chance to wander through the museum before returning to the pickup point.
After breakfast you will be transported back to Cairns or Kuranda with ample time to enjoy other tours the region has to offer.

This is a must do in Cairns - I absolutely just loved the gorgeous views!
- Eliza FIt was an early start at 4.15am and I felt there was a bit of time wasted standing around in preperation. Seemed as though the flight was only 20 minutes and not the 30 as advertised. I guess weather conditions contributed to this but I felt a little hard done by. It was also disappointing that we had to pack up with the organisersm, which I wasn't prepared for.
The champagne breakfast, however was great and made up for some my disapointment.
